Hello From Deirdre


I understand and appreciate that a home is one of our most important and valuable assets. It's unique as an investment because of its emotional value, and of course, it's where you live. With this utmost in mind, I welcome the opportunity to serve you.


As an Anthropology major from the University of Toronto, I was always fascinated by learning about how people lived and adapted to their environments. After several "digs" and some underwater archaeology with Cornell University, I decided the lifestyle wasn't for me. I then worked in the entertainment industry, managing various venues in Toronto and events such as the du Maurier Jazz Festival and Tennis Canada. I liked this field but was not fulfilled by my work.


So here I am, working in Real Estate since 2000. I use my anthropology background to help people find homes that best suit their lifestyle needs and my experience in the service industry to cater to the needs of my clients. I thoroughly enjoy doing this job. I do not think of myself as a salesperson but rather a matchmaker, matching people to homes. I love people's expressions when they find their dream home. I find this career extremely satisfying.

In my experience, Deirdre has always held true to her commitments! When I bought my first home, I really did not know what I was after. Two weeks later, when we came home and finally saw the place, it was love at first sight! We also had to move fast and sell our old place!
